1960 March gNihon Jellia Industryh established for production of the jelly-coated condom (patent number 317025/ industrial new design number 555605). Manufacturing and sales of the product begins under the product name gJellia Skinh. 1960 December gNihon Jellia Inc.h established with \1,000,000 of capital. The head office and factory are established in Hyogo Prefecture, with an additional branch in Osaka, and a business office in Tokyo. 1962 September Head office is moved to Osaka. 1972 September The product line is increased to include health care and baby products. New corporate name created gJEX Co., LTD.h 1973 June gCHU-CHU Baby Bottle and Nippleh product successfully produced, marketed, and sold. 1974 December Capital increased to \300,000,000. 1982 February Double jelly-coated condom processing patent acquired (patent number 1086638). 1982 September gCHU-CHU Breast Milk Padh successfully placed on the market and sold. 1982 August The Sasayama Factory is refurbished to include the new gWest Japan Distribution Centerh and the Nishiwaki and Sasayama factories are integrated. 1993 November The affiliated company gJEX Commercial Companyh is established. 1997 April The affiliated company gCHU-CHU Baby Corporationh is established. 1999 December ISO9002 certification is acquired. 2003 September gJellied top-processingh patent is acquired (patent number 3475891). 2004 January ISO9001 certification is acquired. gCHU-CHU Baby Corporationh is merged with gJEX Co., LTD.h 2005 February Fragrance-free rubber technology patent is acquired (patent number 3579419). New gdeodorized condomh is successfully marketed and sold. 2006 August Head office is relocated from Itoyamachi to Taniachi. |
